Refund Policy

We have a 5-day return policy, which means the purchaser has 5 days after receiving an item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return,  item(s) must be in the same condition that they were received in. A receipt or proof of purchase is a mandatory requirement of all return requests.

To start a return, contact Doorstep Consignments at shop.info.dsc@gmail.com. If the return is accepted, directions to complete the return transaction will be forwarded as needed. Any returns sent back to Doorstep Consignment, without first requesting a return, will not be accepted.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to get the product back to Doorstep Consignment.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon possession and contact shop.info.dsc@gmail.com immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if the wrong item has been received, so that issue can be evaluated and corrected.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, returns on sale items or gift cards will not be accepted. Please consider this when purchasing. 

Exchanges

The most efficient way to ensure you, the purchaser, get the desired item in place of one previously purchased, is to first make a return of the undesired item. Once the return has been processed and accepted, the purchaser is able to then make a separate transaction on the next item. 

Refunds

Doorstep Consignment will notify the buyer once the item(s) have been received and inspected in the return. The buyer will receive a confirmation on the status of the return, identifying if the refund was approved or declined. If approved, the buyer will be automatically refunded on by means of the original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for banks or credit card companies to process and post the refund.
